Welcome to my website and thanks for checking out my artwork.

I love colours and I love to play with funny half abstract figures. I want it to be life and movement in my art and I want the art to come directly from my heart.

Artist's statement

I paint watercolours, acrylics and mixed medias in bright colours of half abstract fantasy motives.

I sell originals and prints at galleries and SPAS.

Inspiration

My interest in the human soul and the life that surrounds it is an ongoing inspiration that influences most of my work.

My happy marriage and my love of the beutiful landscape, surrounded be forests and beautiful lakes, where I live, is also a big inspiration.

Painters who have added to my inspiration and motivtion are:

Sigrid Hjertén (Swedish artist 1885-1948, a pupil of Matisse, she used wonderful colours in her art).

Olli Lyttikainen (Finnish artist 1949-1987, a great drawer and painter with depth and humour in his works).

Mauritz Karström  (Swedish artist 1963-2005, a colour loving artist who painted with an open soul).

Vincent van Gogh well-known Dutch master.

Helene Schjerfbeck (Finnish artist 1862-1946 a master in expressive abstraction).
